Our 2004 F250 is for sale.
It’s a bulletproofed 6.0 Powerstroke with 149k.
Everything works and the truck is in good shape overall.
Asking $14,500, but I am negotiable.

What are you replacing it with?

Nothing as of now. We don’t have a need for a truck like this anymore.
In a couple years I may look for an IDI turbo, but until then the van will run tow duty.

I like how you think. I’d love an IDI turbo.

TBH, I am surprised to see that it's not a Ram 2500 to go along with your other Chrysler products.

My work truck, for a time, in the oilfield was a 2007 F250 with the 6.0 and 220k light oilfield miles.

Were all those miles put on as an oil field truck?

Long bed? Do you have to notify the Coast Guard when you turn it around?

My little brother just got one of these. 30k lighter miles with natural speed holes on the rear fenders and a split seat .
Looks like yours is a nicer truck for not much more cash.
Goodluck on the sale

We’ve done a lot of work to it over the years. I honestly wouldn’t sell it, but I hate having a vehicle I don’t use.

Honestly, once you get used to it, it’s a breeze to drive.

I’ve always loved this body Super Duty. We looked at Chevy, Dodge, and Ford crew cabs, the Ford was by far the roomiest, best laid crew cab out of the bunch.

Texas. I know I put over 3k on it in 2 weeks once.

Yeah, I’m just pulling your leg. My dad had a 2000 Super Duty crew cab short bed, and it really wasn’t that bad to park and maneuver .

Sheesh. I can’t imagine how many squeaks and rattles there must have been given how oil field trucks are used. I know when I worked at a proving grounds with dirt roads the fleet pickups that lived on those roads and didn’t have more than 100k miles squeaked and rattled like nobodies business.

The number of people who ask me “How the hell do you park that thing?!?!” is obnoxious. I usually reply with “Between the lines in a parking lot, isn’t that how everyone parks?”.
